For this team project, the three team members conduct first-hand and second-hand research together, and proceed by coming up with design solutions individually. The issue we recognised and wished to solve was the overflowing rubbish in the canal near the campus. The river currents push the rubbish against the banks, and we decided to devise a rubbish collection system using that advantage. We aimed to create a design solution that is low-tech and affordable.
